YouUp? Privacy Policy

YouUp? is an internal network operations application used by authorized personnel of Meriwether Lewis Electric Cooperative / MLConnect ("MLEC"). This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when authorized users access and use the YouUp? application.

Information We Process

Account and authentication information, such as email address, authentication status, and multi-factor authentication information.
Customer and service information that authorized personnel access while supporting MLEC/MLConnect customers, such as account identifiers, names, service addresses, package or provisioning details, and related service information.
Network and device information, such as ONT identifiers, alarms, optical light levels, uptime, operational status, outage information, and other network diagnostics.
Device and notification information, such as push-notification tokens and limited technical information needed to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the application.

How Information Is Used

Authenticating authorized users and protecting access to the application.
Supporting customers and troubleshooting network services.
Monitoring alarms, outages, and network conditions.
Providing internal operational tools, reports, and notifications.
Maintaining the reliability, security, and performance of the application.

Third-Party Services

YouUp? may use third-party infrastructure and service providers, including Google Firebase services, to support authentication, cloud data storage, server-side processing, and push notifications. These providers may process limited information on MLEC's behalf as necessary to provide those services.

Data Sharing

YouUp? is intended for internal use by authorized MLEC personnel. Information processed through the application is not sold or used for third-party advertising. Information may be shared with service providers that support the application or when required by law, policy, or legitimate business and security needs.

Data Retention

Information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for operational, security, legal, recordkeeping, and business purposes, subject to MLEC policies and applicable requirements.

Security

MLEC uses administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information handled by YouUp?. Access is restricted to authorized users and may require email verification, password authentication, and multi-factor authentication.

Children's Privacy

YouUp? is a business application intended for authorized personnel and is not directed to children.
